Job summary

BevCo in KwaZulu-Natal seeks a Market Development Representative for the Phoenix area to grow informal trade with spazas, mini-supermarkets and tuckshops. Based in the region, the role focuses on building relationships and expanding BevCo's outlet network in informal channels.

You will work with local wholesalers and distributors, support activations and merchandising, and help ensure BevCo pricing compliance. Ideal candidates have Grade 12 and up to 2 years FMCG sales experience.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4.
• Up to 2 years' experience (Operational Execution) FMCG, experience in sales.
• Basic knowledge of PC, or potential to acquire it.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage and open relationships with informal retailers in the defined Phoenix area.
• Seed BevCo's portfolio into a defined area and achieve call rate and conversion targets.
• Ensure company assets (refrigeration; signage) are managed per BevCo governance requirements.
• Support sales and distribution targets into informal retail from local wholesalers, bulk breakers, distributors.
• Assist in execution of the marketing plan for the area (activations, promotions, POSM).
• Ensure BevCo merchandising and pricing compliance standards are sustained.
