Job summary

Pick n Pay is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to maintain OHS standards and support health initiatives across corporate stores. The role includes extensive local travel; a company car and petrol will be provided.

You must have a valid driver’s license and be registered with SANC. You will conduct risk-based baseline medicals, exit medicals, and coordinate executive medicals, while providing first aid and handling emergencies on-site.

Qualifications

• Registered with SANC and current
• Matric and nursing qualification
• Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and COID acts

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with OHS legislation and minimize injuries on duty.
• Provide on-site first aid and manage minor injuries at stores.
• Coordinate HIV/AIDS awareness, counselling and peer educator training.
• Submit monthly OH reports and support disability and salary continuation processes.
