Job summary

Paracon is seeking a visionary telecom leader based in Midrand to architect and drive massive fibre deployments across Africa. You will anchor the design of JV SPVs, define operating models, and lead partnerships aligning technology with investor business cases.

You will guide end-to-end planning for fibre networks, including FTTx, Metro, and Backhaul, while shaping security, OSS/BSS, and governance frameworks to support scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years in deep telecom network planning with fibre design experience.
• Ability to align technology with financial models and investor cases.

Responsibilities

• Define technology strategy, architecture, and operating models for new fibre JV SPVs.
• Lead end-to-end fibre network design including FTTx, Metro, and Backhaul.
• Develop IT, OSS/BSS, and Cybersecurity frameworks for secure operations.
• Drive partnerships with global vendors, investors, and anchor customers.
• Governance and programme leadership to deliver deployments on plan.
