Job summary

Datacentrix Human Capital seeks a Network Architect for our client in Johannesburg on a 12 months contract. Hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office. Ideal candidate has ISP background and experience with Ciena, Arista and Cisco products.

Required: Matric and CCNP, 10+ years of architecture experience, and knowledge of Huawei GPON-OLT and Cisco DWDM layers. You will design and rollout network infrastructure and manage lifecycle across core, metro, aggregation and transport layers.

Qualifications

• Matric and CCNP certification required.
• Over 10 years in a similar network architecture environment.
• Experience with Huawei GPON-OLT and Cisco DWDM layers.

Job description

Our client, one of South Africa’s largest fibre network providers, is looking for a skilled Network Architect to join their team in Johannesburg on a 12 months contract. The ideal candidate needs to have a solid background from an ISP environment with experience working with Ciena, Arista and Cisco products.

Hybrid Role: 3 days per week in the office | 12-month contract

Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Matric & CCNP
• 10+ Years experience in an environment similar to the Architecture below
• Access & Transport Layers: Huawei GPON-OLT access layer and Cisco DWDM layer
