Job summary

Flexo Line Products (Pty) Ltd in Atlantis, Western Cape, is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee factory production, toolroom, stores, maintenance and dispatch.

Reporting to the CEO, you will drive production targets, solve bottlenecks, and lead multiple departments on the shop floor with a strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement. This full-time role requires independent initiative and a track record of delivering operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an operations or production management role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing production teams and multiple departments.
• Strong understanding of production planning, processes and factory operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify bottlenecks.
• Experience managing people and holding teams accountable for performance and results.
• Experience with quality and safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day factory operations including production, toolroom, stores, maintenance and dispatch.
• Collaborate with department managers to meet production targets and resolve issues quickly.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive efficiency improvements.
• Lead and develop production teams, ensuring accountability and performance.
• Implement safety and quality requirements across operations.
• Manage multiple priorities in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
