Job summary

Nestlé Harrismith Factory seeks a qualified Maintenance Specialist to sustain manufacturing and processing equipment to meet production targets. You will coordinate Engineering resources as the Process SME and lead maintenance planning and TPM efforts on site.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in mechanical maintenance, a relevant diploma, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong SAP/AMM literacy and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• N6 or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Apprenticeship with Trade Test certificate.
• 2–3 years in mechanical maintenance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and independent working ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate planned maintenance for factory equipment and buildings.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities including tracking and reporting.
• Lead and coordinate installation, service and repair of equipment.
• Ensure repairs are prompt and first-time-right.
• Participate in TPM activities and improve asset performance.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical and mechanical faults hands-on.
