Job summary

Pronel Consultants seeks an experienced Factory Engineer in Mpumalanga to manage plant engineering, maintenance, projects, infrastructure and compliance, ensuring maximum uptime and productivity. You will lead maintenance teams, oversee budgets, and drive efficiency while complying with ISO and OHS requirements.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years industrial plant experience, GCC – Factories, and strong CAD/CMMS/ERP skills, with excellent English communication and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• BEng/BSc Eng (Mechanical or Electrical) with 2+ years' post-graduate plant experience and GCC exam.
• GCC – Factories certification.
• Minimum 6 years' industrial plant experience, incl. boiler operations.
• Minimum 5 years' experience leading skilled maintenance teams.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with CMMS.
• 3–5 years' CAD experience and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• 3–5 years' ERP experience; SYSPRO advantageous.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving abilities.

• Manage plant maintenance, repairs, construction and engineering projects.

• Minimum 5 years' experience leading skilled maintenance teams.

• Minimum 5 years' experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

• 3–5 years' CAD experience and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
