Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within their Midrand facilities. You will perform routine and specialized cleaning tasks, following safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe workplace for employees and visitors.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong work ethic, can operate cleaning equipment, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in sanitation or cleaning roles.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in all assigned areas.
• Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas with proper disinfection.
• Empty trash and replace liners; dispose waste per guidelines.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment (floor buffers, carpet cleaners, pressure washers).
• Restock consumables in restrooms and kitchens.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.
