Job summary

Placements24 in Paarl is seeking a detail-oriented Sanitation Specialist to maintain clean and hygienic facilities. You will perform a range of cleaning tasks across offices, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas, using appropriate equipment and following health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or sanitation in a commercial or facilities setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies and equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (standing, lifting) for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in offices, restrooms, kitchens and common areas.
• Dispose of waste and recycling per policies.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Report maintenance, damages or supply needs to facilities manager.
• Contribute to a positive, clean working atmosphere.
