Job summary

SKG Properties in Cape Town is seeking a qualified Plumber to perform day-to-day maintenance, including planned and reactive tasks, water systems, sanitary and drainage work, and tenant support. You will handle emergency responses, fixtures, and minor projects while upholding safety and compliance standards.

The role requires a Matric and N1–N3 Plumbing qualification with at least 2 years of plumbing experience, including leak detection, drainage maintenance, soldering and pipe joining.

Qualifications

• Matric and N1–N3 Plumbing qualification.
• Minimum 2 years as a plumber with good technical knowledge.
• Experience with leak detection, drainage maintenance and pipe joining techniques.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance plumbing tasks as assigned by the Manager.
• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Manage water supply and distribution systems, sanitary and drainage systems, and hot-water systems.
• Support tenants and building operations; respond to emergency plumbing requests.
• Maintain reporting, stock control, and coordination with contractors; pursue water-saving initiatives.
