Job summary

CBRE Excellerate in Johannesburg is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to deliver integrated facilities management across building infrastructure and workplace facilities. You will support engineering, maintenance, health & safety, compliance, vendor management and operational performance to meet KPIs, SLAs and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Building Services, Facilities Management or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years in facilities management, building maintenance or related technical environment.
• Experience maintaining critical infrastructure including HVAC, electrical systems, generators, UPS systems, fire systems and mechanical equipment.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors and maintenance service providers.
• Working knowledge of CMMS/FMP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance for building infrastructure and equipment.
• Maintain, inspect, troubleshoot and support critical systems including generators, UPS, HVAC, electrical and fire systems.
• Conduct routine building inspections and daily facility walk-throughs.
• Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with KPIs, SLAs and contractual requirements.
• Create and manage work orders and maintain CMMS records.
• Coordinate and supervise service providers, contractors and vendors.
