Job summary

CBRE Excellerate in Paarl is seeking a facilities manager to plan, organise, and direct activities of client premises, ensuring high standards of service and optimal operation of buildings, grounds and equipment.

You will lead a team, manage budgets, coordinate third party providers, and uphold health and safety compliance while implementing policy procedures. Refrigeration/HVAC/Electrical capability and strong client-management skills are required.

Qualifications

• Matric and a technical qualification in Refrigeration/HVAC/Electrical or Mechanical.
• Minimum five years of related experience with two years in supervision.
• Excellent understanding of client management procedures and budgeting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and direct activities of buildings or client premises.
• Oversee service delivery, procure services and manage third party contracts.
• Maintain health and safety compliance and cost-efficient operations.
• Direct maintenance procedures and supervise staff.
• Coordinate third party providers and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure optimal operation of technical equipment and client facilities.
