Placements24 is seeking an Operations and Facilities Manager for our Bloemfontein premises. The role focuses on overseeing day-to-day operations, facility safety, maintenance, and vendor coordination to ensure a productive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities and operations management with a proven track record in budgeting and regulatory compliance, and will contribute to employee well-being and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations or facilities management.
• Proven experience in managing vendor contracts and negotiating SLAs.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day office operations, including administrative support, mail services and reception.
• Oversee maintenance, security and upkeep of all facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors for repairs, maintenance and installations.
• Develop and manage budgets for facilities and operating expenses.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Implement and manage office policies and procedures to boost efficiency.
• Plan and oversee office moves, reconfigurations and space utilization.
