Placements24 is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng. You will perform routine maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, and address issues to keep facilities safe and functional.

Responsibilities include inspections, responding to maintenance requests, keeping records, and coordinating with external contractors when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Maintenance Technician or similar general maintenance role.
• Strong understanding of building systems including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.
• Ability to perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical manuals and diagrams.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
• A valid driver’s license is required for travel between sites in Pretoria.
• Willingness to be on call for emergency maintenance.
