Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Industrial Facility Maintenance Cleaner to ensure cleanliness and operational integrity of facilities in Mahikeng. You will perform cleaning across workshops, production floors, warehouses and offices to maintain a safe, efficient working environment.

The role requires stamina and attention to hygiene and safety, operating cleaning equipment like pressure washers, floor buffers and industrial vacuums, and adhering to health and safety regulations including PPE.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial or commercial cleaning, with a preference for facility maintenance roles.
• Proficiency in operating cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor buffers, and industrial vacuums.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and chemicals for different industrial surfaces and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina for demanding tasks including lifting and working in varied conditions.
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough cleaning of all assigned industrial areas, including workshops, production floors, warehouses, and offices.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery effectively and safely.
• Dispose of industrial waste and recyclables according to safety guidelines.
• Perform specialized cleaning on machinery and equipment as directed.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and use of PPE.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
