Job summary

Alstom in South Africa is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Coordinator in Boksburg to plan and coordinate maintenance across the site. You will develop schedules, manage CMMS records, and collaborate with maintenance, production, supply chain, and EHS teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

With 3–5 years in facilities maintenance, you’ll apply knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and civil infrastructure, drive KPIs, and support budget tracking in a dynamic rail and manufacturing

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in facilities or maintenance planning.
• Experience with CMMS systems (SAP PM, Maximo, Pragma or EAM).
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain maintenance plans and schedules.
• Coordinate planned, corrective, and shutdown maintenance with Facilities Manager.
• Ensure CMMS records and asset history are accurate.
• Prepare weekly/monthly maintenance schedules and progress updates.
• Confirm labour, tools, permits, contractors and spares availability before work.
