Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or property maintenance.
• Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS).
• Good communication with tenants, contractors, and staff.
• Ability to read and understand technical maintenance documents.
• Valid driver's license.
• Gauteng region experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections for all building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Manage external service providers and contractors, ensuring work meets standards and budget.
• Respond to tenant maintenance requests with prompt resolution.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, work orders, and expenses.
• Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify issues and uphold property standards.
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Liaise with property managers on budgets and operational efficiency.
