Job summary

JVR Software in Pretoria is seeking an F&B / Commercial Manager to oversee the division's commercial performance and operational efficiency. You will manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting to drive profitability and compliance.

You will collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations, negotiate with suppliers, optimize pricing, and ensure health and safety compliance while leveraging Oracle Finance and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting experience.
• Experience in F&B or high-volume hospitality.
• Strong cost control and procurement knowledge.
• Ability to analyse data and present insights.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and control budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Lead F&B commercial strategy to drive revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and quality standards.
• Use Oracle Finance for cost tracking, budget reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Generate regular reports for management and board meetings.
• Oversee inventory control, waste management, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to streamline commercial processes.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and hygiene regulations.
• Support menu engineering and pricing strategies based on cost analysis and market trends.
• Conduct variance analysis and implement corrective actions.
