Job summary

Efficiency Staffing Solutions (Pty) Ltd is recruiting an Extrusion Supervisor for a fixed-term contract in the Eastern Cape, King Willimas Town (Qonce) area. The role focuses on overseeing a 1000A tapes extrusion line, maintaining production targets and safety.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years’ hands-on experience with Lohla DUOTEC-E1058,1000A tapes, strong leadership and troubleshooting skills, and a good understanding of woven sack production processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience on Lohla DUOTEC-E1058 extrusion line.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting and quality control skills.
• Knowledge of woven sack production is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise Lohla DUOTEC-E1058 line to meet production targets.
• Monitor extrusion parameters to ensure consistent quality.
• Conduct regular checks on tapes (denier, strength, elongation, GSM).
• Supervise shift operations, allocate manpower, ensure safety.
• Troubleshoot process issues and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.

Our client in the Manufacturing Industry is seeking to employ an Extrusion Supervisor to join their team. Please note that this is a fixed-term contract.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate and supervise on Lohla DUOTEC-E1058, 1000A Tape Extrusion line.
• Monitor and control extrusion parameters to ensure consistent production quality.
• Conduct regular checks on tapes (denier, strength, elongation, GSM).
• Supervise shift operations, manpower allocation and ensure workplace safety.
• Troubleshoot process issues and coordinate with maintenance for minimum down time.

Experience & Qualification

• 3-5 years’ experience on Lohla DUOTEC-E1058,1000A tapes Extrusion line.
• Strong leadership, technical troubleshooting, and quality control skills.
• Knowledge of woven sack production process will be an added advantage.
