Job summary

Recruitify_HR in Pinetown/ Durban is seeking an External Sales Executive to drive new business in the fire safety and health & safety training sector. The role focuses on hunting for opportunities, building new accounts, and maintaining client relationships.

You will visit clients, present and demo products, prepare proposals, negotiate and close deals, and manage the full sales cycle with a CRM.

Qualifications

EXTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE

Pinetown, Durban

R17 000 – R24 000 Basic + Fuel + Commission

An established company within the fire safety equipment and health & safety training industry is looking for a driven, hunter-style External Sales Executive to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for a highly motivated sales professional who thrives on generating new business, opening new accounts, and building long-term client relationships. If you're passionate about sales and have industry knowledge, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and cold calling
• Sell fire safety equipment, solutions, and health & safety training services
• Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects
• Develop long-term relationships with new and existing clients
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow up on opportunities
• Negotiate and close sales to achieve and exceed monthly targets
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to after-sales service
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities on the CRM system
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional products and services
• Stay informed on industry trends, legislation, and competitor activity

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an external hunter sales role
• Previous experience within the fire safety equipment, fire protection, or health & safety training industry is essential
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, energetic, resilient, and target-driven
• Valid driver's license
• Own reliable vehicle (essential)
• Computer literate with experience using CRM systems
