You will drive a Code 10 vehicle, ensuring cargo integrity and compliant export procedures while coordinating with export teams and port authorities. A strong, reliable candidate will thrive in a global trade setting.

Qualifications

• Valid South African driver's license with Code 10 endorsement and PDP.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional driving experience.
• Familiarity with Western Cape ports and export logistics.
• Good knowledge of Paarl region and surrounding corridors.
• Ability to handle diverse cargo types for export.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid SA ID or work permit.
• Clean driving record and flexibility for shipping schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Code 10 vehicle for deliveries to ports and consolidation points.
• Transport export commodities including agricultural and manufactured goods.
• Ensure on-time and accurate delivery to meet export schedules.
• Load/unload cargo while preserving product integrity for export.
• Verify export documents: manifests, customs declarations, shipping instructions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization.
• Follow port regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate with export coordinators, shipping agents, and port authorities.
• Manage routes and schedules to optimize efficiency and deadlines.
