Placements24 is seeking a Fleet Driver to support vineyards and wineries in the Paarl area. The role requires operating multiple company vehicles, ensuring safe, timely deliveries, and maintaining trip logs for optimization.

You will navigate local roads and vineyard access challenges, perform basic vehicle checks, and collaborate with logistics teams to meet seasonal demands while upholding safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site position in a thriving wine region.

Qualifications

• Proven delivery experience, preferably in agriculture or rural logistics.
• Strong knowledge of local vineyard areas and access routes.
• Ability to manage schedules and adhere to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to transport goods and equipment between vineyard sites, wineries, and distribution points.
• Ensure timely deliveries according to seasonal demands and operational requirements.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance for readiness.
• Follow specified routes with attention to vineyard access conditions.
• Maintain accurate trip logs including mileage and fuel consumption.
• Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Communicate with vineyard managers and logistics coordinators.
• Report vehicle malfunctions or delivery issues promptly.
• Contribute to high operational efficiency in the wine supply chain.
