Placements24 in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, seeks an experienced Exploration Geologist to join our client's team on a hybrid basis. You will integrate and interpret geological, geophysical, and well data to identify hydrocarbon prospects and mature exploration leads.

You will develop geological models, participate in prospect risk evaluation, and collaborate with subsurface teams to define exploration strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in exploration geology, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with data management and geological databases.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental best practices relevant to exploration activities.
• Ability to work effectively in both team-based and independent settings.
• Must be able to commute to the Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal office on a regular basis as required by the hybrid work model.

Responsibilities
