Job summary

JVR Software in Tshwane is seeking an experienced Strategy Director to lead the development and communication of corporate strategy, translate objectives into executable plans, and align departments with the board's priorities.

You will own integrated strategy maps, drive annual planning, performance management, and board reporting, and manage strategic initiatives while ensuring governance through dashboards.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, management consulting, or executive leadership.
• Proven success leading strategy formulation and execution within large and complex organisations.
• Experience working closely with CEOs, Executive Committees, and Boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, reviewing, and communication of the corporate strategy.
• Translate Board-approved strategic objectives into executable plans and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with Executive Management to align departmental strategies with corporate objectives.
• Develop and maintain an integrated strategy map and corporate scorecard.
• Drive annual strategic planning, performance management, and Board strategy processes.
• Lead strategic analysis, market intelligence, opportunity assessment, and scenario planning.
• Manage strategic initiatives, transformation programmes, and CEO priority projects.
• Prepare and present strategic insights and reports for Executive Committees and the Board.
• Monitor execution performance through governance structures, dashboards, and progress reviews.
• Coordinate high-impact strategic partnerships and special projects.
• Provide leadership support and continuity during the CEO's absence.
