About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Executive Housekeeper to manage all housekeeping operations for their prestigious establishment in Sandton . This leadership role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation throughout the property, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. You will lead and train the housekeeping team, manage budgets and inventory, and ensure exceptional guest experiences through impeccable attention to detail. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in luxury hospitality, excellent management skills, and a passion for creating pristine environments. This is a senior position with significant responsibility for the overall guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department, including staff management, scheduling, and training.
• Develop and implement high-level housekeeping standards and procedures to ensure consistent quality.
• Conduct regular property inspections to guarantee that all areas meet or exceed luxury standards for cleanliness and presentation.
• Manage the departmental budget, including labor costs, inventory, and supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in housekeeping management , preferably in luxury hotels or high-end establishments.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating large housekeeping teams.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, stain removal, pest control, and sanitation best practices.
