Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in a senior financial management, general management or combined finance and operations role.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cash-flow management, management accounts, financial controls and business costing.
• Experience within manufacturing, production, engineering, shop fitting, installations or similar product-based operational environment.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills with hands-on leadership.

Aufgaben

• Oversee budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, financial reporting and working capital management.
• Maintain effective financial controls across accounts, payroll, customer payments, supplier commitments and expenditure.
• Monitor product and project profitability, identify cost-saving opportunities and improve margins.
• Analyse actual costs against budgets and quotations, addressing inefficiencies, wastage and unnecessary expenses.
• Work with external accountants and financial advisers to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
• Oversee and coordinate procurement, stock control, warehousing, manufacturing, installations and after-sales service.
• Ensure production schedules, resources and materials are aligned with customer commitments and delivery deadlines.
• Improve operational workflows, productivity, quality control and cost management across manufacturing and shop-fitting activities.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks while reducing delays, rework and material wastage.
• Ensure effective coordination between departments from initial sales to delivery.
• Maintain operational readiness across facilities and equipment, with appropriate health and safety procedures in place.
