Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Banking, Law or a related discipline.
• A postgraduate qualification or professional banking, treasury or trade finance credential would be advantageous.
• 8–12 years’ experience in Trade Finance, Trade and Working Capital, Transactional Banking, Corporate Banking or Structured Trade Solutions.
• A proven track record of structuring and executing complex trade and working capital transactions.
• Deep understanding of trade finance, supply chain finance, guarantees, receivables and payables solutions.
• Strong commercial judgement, client engagement and negotiation capability.
• Demonstrated success working across Credit, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations in a complex, matrixed banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner Sales and Coverage to identify high-value opportunities, deepen client penetration and grow revenue.
• Translate strategy into executable transactions that strengthen the franchise and deliver commercial outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and understand their operating models and transaction banking needs.

• Coordinate stakeholder inputs and manage full transaction lifecycle.
• Deliver integrated solutions across Product, Sales, Coverage, Credit, Legal and Operations.
• Track market trends and opportunities to sharpen propositions and create client value.
• Influence senior stakeholders and mobilise the expertise to deliver opportunities.

• Building strong, trusted partnerships across Transactional Banking, Coverage, Product and the broader Corporate and Investment Bank.
• Influencing senior stakeholders, create alignment and mobilise the expertise required to deliver strategic client opportunities.

• Ensuring structured solutions meet all applicable regulatory, legal, compliance, credit and governance requirements.
