Placements24 seeks a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead major ventures in Sandton, Gauteng. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery of large-scale commercial and residential projects while maintaining client relationships and high quality standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 10+ years of PM experience, and proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, and Procore.

• 10+ years of construction PM experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects with budgets > R50 million.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and closeout of multiple construction projects.

• Apply risk management and QA across the lifecycle.

About the Role

You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining excellent client relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and closeout of multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules, and effectively manage resources to meet project objectives.
• Lead and motivate project teams, including site staff, subcontractors, and consultants, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Implement robust risk management strategies and quality assurance protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage client communications, stakeholder engagement, and contractual obligations, ensuring satisfaction and compliance.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on project sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
• At least 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a demonstrated history of successfully delivering large-scale commercial and residential projects.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore) and contract administration.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Experience managing budgets exceeding R50 million.
