Qualifications

• A completed three or four-year degree in a numerate discipline — BCom, BSc, engineering, actuarial, statistics, economics.
• Honours, CA(SA), CIMA, industrial engineering, or a part-time MBA or postgraduate diploma in progress.
• Three to five years post-graduation in analytical, commercial, consulting or finance roles.
• Exposure to multi-branch, multi-site or distribution businesses preferred.
• Advanced Excel with ability to build executive slide packs.
• Power BI/Tableau, SQL, Power Query, ERP reporting experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, discreet, and able to challenge executives with evidence.

Responsibilities

• Executive reporting: monthly group flash commentary and BCP packs; ensure completeness.
• Performance analysis: branch, category, and rep-level margin and expense reviews.
• Process diagnostics: root-cause analysis of lead times and order flow with quantified recommendations.
• Project follow-through: track exco commitments to a dated close-out; escalate slippage.
• Commercial support: provide analysis for pricing, campaigns, tenders and profitability.
• Governance: prepare right packs and numbers for MD engagements.
• Executive administration: diary, travel, inbox triage and gatekeeping at a high standard.
