Job summary

Placements24 is seeking energetic Event Cleaning Crew Members to support cleaning operations for events across Soweto and surrounding areas. You will help ensure venues are clean and presentable before, during, and after events, working with a dynamic team and flexible hours that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Ideal candidates are reliable, physically fit, and capable of working in high-traffic settings.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in event or hospitality settings.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods during events.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-event setup cleaning, ensuring venues are tidy and welcoming.
• Conduct ongoing cleaning during events to maintain cleanliness and manage waste.
• Execute post-event cleanup, including waste removal, surface cleaning, and resetting venues.
• Respond promptly to cleaning needs and spills as they arise.
• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently.
