About the Role

Our client, a premier events and hospitality management company with venues across the Upington, Northern Cape region, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Professional Cleaner specializing in event venue upkeep. This role is essential for ensuring that all event spaces, banquet halls, conference rooms, and associated facilities are immaculate before, during, and after events. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, efficient, and possess a keen eye for detail to maintain the high standards expected in the hospitality industry. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to accommodate event schedules. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of event venues, including main halls, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and FOH/BOH areas.
• Execute post-event cleaning, ensuring rapid turnaround for subsequent bookings.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all fixtures, furnishings, and equipment within the venues.
• Respond to cleaning needs and emergencies during events, maintaining discretion and efficiency.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure proper usage and storage.
• Operate various cleaning equipment, including floor machines, carpet cleaners, and high-pressure washers.
