Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician or Automotive Technician with electrical focus.
• HV automotive systems certification mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of automotive electrical experience, EV/Hybrid preferred.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment including multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical principles and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in low and high-voltage automotive systems.
• Perform maintenance and repair on hybrid and electric vehicle (EV) powertrains, including battery systems and electric motors.
• Safely handle and work with high-voltage components and systems, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and oscilloscopes to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical service bulletins.
• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, including charging systems, lighting, and accessory electronics.
• Perform routine maintenance on EV batteries and charging equipment.
• Collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient and accurate vehicle repairs.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in EV technology, safety standards, and repair procedures.
• Document all repairs and diagnostic findings accurately in the workshop management system.
