Job summary

EF Language Abroad in Cape Town is seeking an ESL Teacher to lead General English and SPIN courses for international students. You will plan engaging lessons, use EF’s curriculum, and work under the Academic Director to support student learning and growth.

You will manage classrooms, track progress and attendance, provide feedback, and foster a positive, culturally vibrant learning environment. Prior safeguarding experience and global mobility are valued.

Qualifications

• Full fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Teaching or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver General English and SPIN courses for international students.
• Inspire language learning with interactive, immersive classroom experiences.
• Track attendance, assess progress, and provide regular feedback.
