Placements24 in Gauteng is seeking an Industrial Engineer with a specialization in ergonomics to join our client’s on-site team in Tembisa. You will assess tasks, environments, and systems to identify ergonomic risks and develop practical solutions that boost safety and productivity.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, 2–5 years’ experience in ergonomics, and familiarity with tools like RULA, REBA and NIOSH.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in ergonomics and workplace design.
Knowledge of ergonomic assessment tools (RULA, REBA, NIOSH) and biomechanics.
On-site work in Tembisa, Gauteng.

Responsibilities

Conduct ergonomic assessments of workstations, tools and tasks to identify risks.
Design modifications to improve ergonomics and reduce injury potential.
Develop and implement ergonomic training programs.
Collaborate with safety, HR and operations to embed ergonomic principles.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in Gauteng.
