Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer specializing in Ergonomics and Human Factors to improve workplace safety, comfort, and efficiency in Randburg. The role involves assessing tasks, workstations, tools, and processes to mitigate ergonomic risks and reduce injuries.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial ergonomics or human factors.
• Experience conducting ergonomic risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of biomechanics, anthropometry, and ergonomic assessment tools such as RULA and REBA.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and other safety regulations.
• Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct ergonomic assessments of tasks, workstations, and equipment in Randburg facilities.
• Identify and analyze ergonomic risk factors, such as awkward postures, repetitive motions, and excessive force.
• Develop and recommend solutions to mitigate ergonomic hazards, including workstation redesigns, tool modifications, and process changes.
• Implement and manage ergonomic programs and initiatives across the organization.
• Provide training on ergonomic principles to employees and supervisors.
• Collaborate with safety, health, and environmental teams to integrate ergonomic considerations into safety management.
• Investigate workplace injuries related to ergonomic issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented ergonomic solutions through data collection and analysis.
• Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and technologies in ergonomics and human factors.
• Contribute to the design of new processes and facilities with a focus on human factors and ergonomics.
