Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Kinesiology, Occupational Therapy, or related ergonomics-focused field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering with strong ergonomics/workplace design focus.
• Certification in ergonomics (e.g., CPE) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of biomechanics, anthropometry, and human–computer interaction.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct ergonomic assessments of workstations, tools, and tasks to identify risks and improvements.
• Design modifications to workstations, equipment, and processes to reduce physical strain.
• Develop and implement ergonomic guidelines and best practices for the organization.
• Investigate workplace incidents, focusing on ergonomic root causes and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, and Operations to integrate ergonomic principles into job design and training.
• Use anthropometric data and biomechanical principles to inform workplace design decisions.
• Evaluate and recommend ergonomic equipment and tools.
• Conduct training sessions on ergonomic principles and safe work practices.
• Stay current with research and best practices in ergonomics and human factors engineering.
