Placements24 in East London, Eastern Cape, is seeking an Industrial Engineer with a strong ergonomics and workplace design focus. You will analyze tasks, identify ergonomic risks, and implement design solutions to minimize strain and injuries while boosting productivity and worker well-being.

Responsibilities include conducting workstation assessments, designing solutions, delivering ergonomics training, and collaborating with health and safety teams to ensure regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor level degree with ergonomics focus or related field
• Experience in industrial engineering with ergonomics emphasis
• Knowledge of biomechanics and anthropometry
• Certification as CP/E or similar desirable

Mansioni

• Conduct ergonomic assessments of workstations, tools, and tasks to identify hazards and risks.
• Design and implement ergonomic solutions including workstation modifications and tool selection.
• Develop and deliver training programs on ergonomics and safe work practices.
• Collaborate with health and safety professionals for regulatory compliance.
• Analyze accident and injury data to identify trends and prioritize interventions.
• Participate in design and layout of new facilities with an ergonomic focus.
