Job summary

Clinix Botshelong-Empilweni Private Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse with a focus on Accident & Emergency care. The role requires trauma nursing skills, current SANC registration, and NALS/PALS/ACLS/ATLS qualifications where possible.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with trauma care competencies and emergency nursing skills.
• SANC registration current and valid for practice in SA.
• ATLS/NALS/PALS/ACLS qualifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties according to SANC, DOH and national standards.
• Supervise and lead the allocated team within the A&E unit.
• Collaborate with doctors and multidisciplinary team for patient care plans.
• Attend internal/external audits and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor ward rounds with doctors and assist in discharge planning.
• Ensure safety, patient advocacy and adherence to policies.
