Placements24 is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician in Mahikeng to ensure reliable operation of our machinery and systems. This hands-on role focuses on preventative maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs to minimize downtime.

You will read manuals and schematics, document maintenance actions, and work safely within an industrial setting in the North West province. The ideal candidate combines mechanical and electrical know-how with keen problem-solving and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Equipment Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic in a Mahikeng industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment.
