Job summary

Construct Executive Search in South Africa seeks an environmental professional with a BSc(Hons) in Environmental Science or Environmental Management and SACNASP or EAPASA registration. The role requires 3–8 years of post-qualification experience in environmental management, EIAs, and due diligence within infrastructure, energy, or built environment sectors.

Applicants should have sound knowledge of waste management, resource efficiency, and familiarity with relevant environmental legislation.

Qualifications

Applicants must have the following requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Management.
• Project management and relevant technical certifications, such as CWEP, CMVP, or Green Star SA AP, will be advantageous.
• Must be professionally registered with SACNASP as a Natural Scientist and/or EAPASA as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner.
• Must have 3-8 years of post-qualification experience in environmental management, environmental impact assessments (EIAs), and/or environmental due diligence within the infrastructure, energy, or built environment sectors.
• Must have sound knowledge of waste management systems and resource efficiency, including energy, water, and waste management.
• Must have a strong understanding of relevant environmental legislation, standards, and compliance requirements.
• Exposure to renewable energy, gas, or green hydrogen projects will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of lender and Development Finance Institution (DFI) environmental and social requirements will be advantageous.
• Experience in environmental due diligence and sustainability assessments will be advantageous.
