About the Role

This role involves assessing environmental impacts, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with environmental legislation for a wide range of projects. You will conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs), waste management plans, and biodiversity studies, providing expert advice to clients and stakeholders. This is a critical role for an environmental professional passionate about balancing development needs with ecological preservation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and Basic Assessments.
• Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and Monitoring Programmes.
• Perform site assessments, baseline studies, and risk analyses.
• Advise clients on environmental compliance, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed environmental reports, feasibility studies, and management strategies.
• Engage with regulatory authorities, clients, and affected communities throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in environmental consulting.
• Registered as an Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) with the relevant authority.
