Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Junior Industrial Engineer to join our Centurion team. This entry-level role focuses on supporting the optimization of our supply chain and logistics operations, working closely with senior engineers to analyze networks and implement practical solutions.

You will gain hands-on experience across warehouse layouts, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration, with opportunities for professional development and a solid starting salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, SCM, or a related field.
• Internship or 1-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or industrial engineering.
• Basic understanding of Lean principles and process improvement tools.
• Familiarity with ERP or WMS systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing supply chain data to identify cost reductions and efficiency gains.
• Support development and implementation of optimized warehouse layouts and material flow strategies.
• Conduct site visits and data collection to understand operational challenges in logistics and distribution.
• Help develop standard operating procedures for warehouse and transportation activities.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss project progress and operational issues.
• Learn and apply inventory management and logistics optimization principles.
