Job summary

Mediclinic Southern Africa invites applications for an Enrolled Nurse to deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice. The position is on-site in Polokwane, Limpopo, with a permanent appointment.

You will work with the multi-disciplinary team, identify and report risks to patient safety, create a positive patient experience, and maintain accurate records of all nursing interventions.

Qualifications

• Essential: Enrolled Nurse Certificate
• Desirable: CPD courses in specialized ward areas
• Basic life support trained
• Infection prevention and control
• Pharmacology
• Nursing processes and procedures

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Enrolled Nurse Certificate

DESIRED EDUCATION: For specialised wards, CPD courses in specific specialityarea

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:1 year post qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Basic life support trained
• Infection prevention and control
• Pharmacology
• Scientific nursing principles and process
• Nursing processes and procedures
