Job summary

Mediclinic Southern Africa is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to deliver safe, quality nursing care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on patient safety, accurate documentation of interventions, and contributing to a learning environment to build staff competence.

The position requires an Enrolled Nurse Certificate and offers the chance to develop in specialised wards with CPD opportunities; prior experience is desired but not essential.

Qualifications

• Essential education: Enrolled Nurse Certificate.
• Desired education: CPD courses in specific speciality area.
• Essential minimum experience: None.
• Desired experience: 1 year post qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
• Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Enrolled Nurse Certificate

DESIRED EDUCATION: For specialised wards, CPD courses in specific specialityarea

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:1 year post qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit
