Curro Mossel Bay in Mossel Bay is seeking an English FAL Teacher (Intermediate Phase) to commence duties in January 2027. The role leads instruction across the intermediate phase and includes coordinating curriculum delivery in alignment with Curro's standards.

The candidate should hold a BEd and/or PGCE for the intermediate phase, with at least two years of relevant teaching experience, knowledge of the IEB curriculum and strong communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• BEd and/or PGCE in intermediate phase teaching required.
• Proven facilitation, problem-solving and report-writing skills.
• Knowledge of the IEB curriculum and assessment practices.

Responsabilités

• Teach and coordinate a range of subjects as per Curro curriculum for the intermediate phase.
• Plan lessons, set up workbooks and measure academic improvement.
• Review term plans, monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Manage classroom environment and communicate with learners and parents.
• Set up and manage assessments, including moderation and revision packs.
