HR Talent Partner SA is recruiting for a Technical Buyer (Engineering) in Somerset West. This full-time permanent role focuses on procurement within an Aviation Engineering context, ensuring on-time orders and compliant processes in the Helderberg area.

The ideal candidate has a minimum Grade 12, 3–6 years as a technical buyer in manufacturing, an Engineering degree, and hands-on SAP experience, paired with strong communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders are delivered on time and compliant with rules and regulations
• Process purchase requisitions, convert to purchase orders and forward to suppliers
• Check and adjust SAP/MRP automatic source determination
• Monitor procurement from order acknowledgement to delivery
• Issue reminders and expedite late or faulty deliveries
• Manage inbound logistics and consolidate shipments to reduce costs
• Resolve delivery, quality and price disputes with suppliers
• Source new programmes as per Engineering Parts List
• Attend Production Readiness Review Meetings for new programmes
• Participate in daily procurement shop floor management meetings
