Job summary

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead mining systems projects from concept through implementation. You will manage detailed plans, budgets, scopes, and risks while coordinating electronic, electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams.

You will interface with customers and suppliers, monitor progress, ensure health and safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement in project execution and engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 3+ years of project management experience in engineering.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept to implementation.
• Strong systems engineering knowledge and lifecycle management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Financial acumen including budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of engineering projects related to mining systems and technologies.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across electronic, electrical, mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing disciplines.
• Manage project scope, timelines, costs, and quality to ensure delivery within agreed parameters.
• Act as the primary interface between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on both technical and commercial matters.
• Monitor project progress, proactively addressing risks, issues, and change requests.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality processes, and health and safety requirements.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
• Support system integration, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution methodologies and engineering practices.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or related field
• Proven engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years in project management
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept through to implementation
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and full project lifecycle management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and commercial awareness
