Job summary

Network Finance is recruiting an experienced Senior Project Leader to drive capital project delivery within a manufacturing/mining context. You will steer initiatives from concept to close-out, balancing safety, cost, and schedule while guiding multidisciplinary teams and engaging stakeholders.

You will leverage strong leadership and risk management skills to deliver value, maintain governance, and ensure regulatory compliance across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering or technical degree is required.
• Proven experience delivering large multidisciplinary projects in manufacturing/mining/industrial environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
• Knowledge of project controls, risk management principles, and budget oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of multiple projects from concept through commissioning and close-out.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of multiple projects from concept through to commissioning and close-out.
• Develop and execute project strategies that align with business and operational objectives.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and project risks.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineering, maintenance, operations, contractors, and external stakeholders.
• Drive project governance, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement, efficiency gains, and long-term value creation.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and project teams where required.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 8 years' experience leading and delivering projects within a manufacturing, mineral processing, mining, or industrial environment.
• Proven experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects with significant capital value.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project controls, and risk management principles.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, contractors, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive project delivery in fast-paced operational environments.
• Professional registration and/or PMP, PrCP, or equivalent project management certification will be advantageous.
