Job summary

Network Finance, a respected engineering and technology solutions provider in the mining sector, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead engineering projects from concept to implementation.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams across electronic, electrical, mechanical, software, and systems disciplines, manage budgets and schedules, and act as the main interface with clients and suppliers.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement in project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in engineering settings.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams across varied disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of mining systems projects.
• Develop detailed project plans with schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate electronic, electrical, mechanical, software, and other engineering teams.
• Manage scope, timelines, costs, and quality to meet parameters.
• Interface with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical and commercial matters.
• Monitor progress and address risks, issues, and changes.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality, and health and safety.
• Prepare status reports for senior management and clients.
• Support system integration, FAT/SAT, commissioning and handover activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in execution methodologies.

Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of engineering projects related to mining systems and technologies.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across electronic, electrical, mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing disciplines.
• Manage project scope, timelines, costs, and quality to ensure delivery within agreed parameters.
• Act as the primary interface between customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on both technical and commercial matters.
• Monitor project progress, proactively addressing risks, issues, and change requests.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality processes, and health and safety requirements.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
• Support system integration, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution methodologies and engineering practices.

Job Experience and Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or related field
• Proven engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years in project management
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept through to implementation
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and full project lifecycle management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and commercial awareness
