Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment is seeking an experienced Engineering Lead to guide our IT engineering function, shaping platforms and delivering seamless digital experiences across customer touchpoints. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with Product and Technology to drive strategic initiatives.

You should have a strong track record in software development, software architecture, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience delivering complex software projects with strong technical leadership.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate teams.
• Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and modern development frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to prioritise multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with Product and cross-functional teams to define and execute the technical roadmap.
• Drive design, development and optimisation of platforms for scalability, reliability and security.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies and evaluate their relevance.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions with stakeholders.
